    Driftless TR

I'd highly recommend fishing in the driftless region to anyone who hasn't. There are hundreds of miles of spring creeks and they're all loaded with fish. I was able to hit 4 different streams on Monday and I caught somewhere around 20 fish.....and I SUCK on these small technical waters. Almost every time I approached a pool I'd see 15 fish spook and skatter all over the place. Guys that know the game bag 20 in an hour. Either way, I fished Monday and the midge action was consistent on the surface almost all day long. Size 22 RS-2 was the ticket....I peppered in a few pics of my trip to Northern MN, as well as some old film shots that I found at my friends cabin...they pics are huge and they all got cropped in a fucked up way but i don't really care to fix it you get the idea... I'm should be out on Sunday and Monday if anyone wants to fish.

The weather must have been decent. I see one day you fished with your shirt off and only in your pajama bottoms.

    Re: Driftless TR

Flies will be there before Wednesday. I threw in some extra bonus presents for SSA on account of my tardiness.

yeah dude I spent a good hour on it when the wind was reallllllly strong. going down wind is kinda hard when there's snow on the ice, but it will still fly when you point up or take a broad reach or whatev.

here's a video of us fucking around on the ice boat two years ago when the conditions were really good. at the beginning i'm just shuttling my dad back to get some ice skates so we're going slow. if you fast forward to about the three minute mark you can get an idea of how fast it goes. kinda funny to hear my dad cackling too...

That's sick! I could cover some serious ground on my ice fishing trips with one of these
