Some recent flies from the vise

Hey these are the first 3 flies i have ever tied. Pretty sure I won't catch anything with them. I also don't have a camera to get those close up shots.

I'll bet those will catch fish if you fish them properly.....first flies and you didn't crowd the eyelet!!!! Well done!!!!

Fish those in the film during a caddis hatch. Could be lethal.

Fish these on the bottom, on the hottest days of summer, when the water is low.

You could market these by skewering 2 or 3 on a little plastic sword and packing a dozen into a fake plastic martini glass container...

bw, was that a pattern you copied or something you made up? And exactly what was it you were trying to imitate? I assume it was a caddis stage.

Yeah Caddis Larva, I know they aren't comparable to the elite flies some can make on here. Im not worried about it.

For larvae make your abdomen tighter wrapped and tapered. Try to be a little bit more definitive with the heads also. What you have there is closer to a pupa which is why Mudbug said it might be better fished in the film.
