Great shots anyway. That's the problem when you don't take pictures everyday and all those things have not become second nature. My buddy has been going through that for about eighteen months now. He is just now beginning to do all those things without thinking about them.

Yah, sooo not there. I shot half this trip in Jpeg instead of RAW too. Not really that big of a deal but you do loose a lot of flexibility in some of those landscapes.
The best though was getting my leg wedged between two trees I stood on to climb over. My foot slipped In-between them just as I was hopping off and the pack took me over twisting my upper body so my foot and my face were almost toe to nose. Just as I saw my life flash before my eyes the back tree snapped somehow before my leg did and I went for a little swim in the creek. The only thing above water was my face, the camera did not survive. $500+ repair bill. Luckily it was the last day and we were almost out.

Mt. Mansfield from Sterling, after a BIG snow.....it was cold and the snow was light and deep......
