The problem with these feathered is that so many are just garbage. You have sift through a lot of packs to find something decent and even then nearly half is gonna be waste.
I wouldn't buy anything I couldn't touch first unless it's from someone like feather emporium or feathers mc where your seeing photos of the actual feather from people who know what there doing.
ebay seems like a crap shoot.
the pics were the purple dee wing spey and a muddler I used peacock for, you prolly seen both already.

Good luck finding dyed turkey tales. They have become very scarce because the white domestic turkey they come from is being bred to be almost feather less. Try using duck quills for your wet flies. They are easier to set and are more durable them goose shoulder.

In light of TM's almost perfect tie( I know jealousy is an ugly trait)..I tried again...right sized hook and all...a large improvement...I'll sit at the vise again this evening perhaps....'
