    Shenandoah

Spent several days in October hiking and fishing small streams in SNP. The streams were low and the wild brook trout were very cautious.
I was able to fool a few including several in full Autumn attire. I have fished all of New England as well as New York and Pennsylvania and have taken many brook trout, but they were nothing like the wild jewels in Shenandoah.

Those are amazing fish ... and that area looks beautiful, even with the low water.
