    Pebble Mine

Folks, I would like to start some discussion of Pebble Mine.

I want to know the issues and the players.

Does anyone on NEFF know a thing about this?

You mean other than it is TU's # 1 priority to keep this particular mine from being built?

TU and partners convinced the EPA to issue a ruling that basically makes it exceptionally tough to destroy the best wild salmon runs left in the world, thankfully. But it's not a 100% done deal just yet. Not looking like it will be built, but with these things, you never know.

He won't read it. Better just send him the cliff notes.

Tobias...what do you think of Greenberg's writing? Did you read any other of his books? "Four Fish" was interesting, as I work in the fast food industry....If you enjoy his books, you should also read "Salt: A World History", by Mark Kurlansky....

I will only read a book if it contains more pictures than words. Also, it has to have large print.

Four Fish was an excellent read, but I haven't read his other books. Sounds like some winter reading material is in order...
