The 7mm Rem-Mag is a hefty cartridge, I had a Remington 700 in 7mm rem and I really regret selling it.

You can pretty much take any game in America down with that round.

I own two 7 mm Remington Magnums, one a custom Savage with a one-in-one thousand barrel and a "worked action" that was my Dad's, and my Winchester model 70 in pre-'64 action. Both minute of angle guns at 100 yards with 3 shot groups. A great all around North American cartridge. Show us your Sako! Another great manufacturer.

That is a very good price. I have a Sako .243 heavy barrel varmint gun with a Leupold 3-9 variable scope. It has a butter smooth action. I am waiting to be invited to a Catskill alpaca farm to take care of the coyotes.
