Perhaps though the proper way to look at it is that they gave us a framework to begin as a nation and a way to fix things as we evolved (that's a constitutional amendment in case you forgot). In conclusion I'm gonna side with the folks that were actually willing to sacrifice themselves to get to the point where we could create a constitution. After all They pledged their own life and liberty and sacred honor to do so. I just don't think anything you can say would compare. Now if you want to suit up and stand the line to defend all that has been given to you I might change my mind.
I consider the Founding Fathers to be great men.

The Constitution is pretty good, too.

    Canada's is much better

    So is Mexico's.

To honor the Founding Fathers. I feel you and I should open a burger chain, and use the Constitution to wrap our burgers.

We can put the bad parts, like the three-fifths clause, on the toilet paper.

Yes Mexico seems to be thriving under their constitution. Your degree from NU loses it's value with every post you make.

I like that idea, let's be like the Mexicans, at least their corruption is overt. I can finally start my own personal cartel, with government backing.

Don't be misled by the start of Article 10, the "except" clause made reality more restrictive than most of our States. A case where laws can be written to limit the constitution.

Maybe the liberals should all move to Mexico, where they can feel safe...

It would look good in a museum, perhaps the Museum of the American Slave Trade.

But I would definitely scrap it and rewrite.
You do realize that Africans kidnapped other Africans to sell into the slave trade. Also, shipping companies from the North transported those slaves. The first registered slave owner in Virginia was a black man named Anthony Johnson.

Free black men from Louisiana fought for the Confederacy.

America is a Republic, not a democracy.

There is a difference between having health insurance and receiving health care. The ACA is a scam and needs to be abolished. Just like slavery was. Too bad most Americans are still slaves to the banksters in the form of debt.

Canada is full of progressives like you. Just look at their crappy health system.

I hate to break it to you beetle, but you and those who think like you would have been on the receiving end of the founding father's long guns. Our founding father's would have been fighting by now and I'm sure they're rolling over in their graves as progressives work to transform America into their utopian experiment.

Just remember, only 3% of the population fought in the revolution and only 10% supported the revolutionary fighters. The rest were a bunch of pansies who supported the red coats.
