Yes... Creating a mid sized city in the middle of the Catskills would have negative environmental consequences, and it's worth fighting.

Turning it into a racist thing will, just lose support for your cause.

I hate it when someone on "my side" starts throwing out a bunch of red herrings.....

If you give ten reasons why something shouldn't be done, and your opposition can show that one or more of them is wrong, everything you said gets called into question.

You already lost TomFly, and probably just about anyone else with any Asian ancestry ("Orientals" are rugs, people might be Asians).

I did not mean anything racist; this is observations myself and I know the majority of yourselves have made and are known to be true. Would you argue that anything I've said is a bold faced lie?

Moosekid, you're a smart guy for sure, but that's NEFF smart, which is a totally different thing than actually being smart.

Guys like Tomfly and Dluver are NEFF smart.

Tomfly thinks he invented the cased caddis and brought a lawsuit against a fly fishing magazine on the legal advice he got in posts here.

Dluver sells pontoon boats for a living. He has sold 2 in 5 years.

Danme and Future Fanatic are the best and the brightest of NEFF.

So let's not be calling anyone stupid around here, even if you might be more than NEFF smart, which I suspect you are.

I take infrequent college classes, thank you very much. I've never failed an english class and actually was moved into creative writing classes in HS because the teachers liked my writing style.

Also, I'm not your fucking homie so don't call me that. While you're at it cut your hair and get a fucking job you hipster slob

Whoah, sorry dude I didn't know I'd be striking such a nerve (can I call you dude? is that appropriate? even though it's a colloquialism, i'm pretty sure it's still a noun...kinda like homie...). You can get back to me on that one, and in the meantime--I'd like to apologize. I didn't mean to insult you. I don't think you're stupid, and for the record, I don't think education-level is a unit of intelligence. I was just trying to annoy you a little, per usual, and I guess I was a little harsh.

For the record. My avatar is me @ age 15. I have short hair now. I AM a hipster slob, and I work as a broadcast engineer for SiriusXm Satellite radio.

Okay, so 'I'm not your fucking homie' so I won't 'call you than,' but We SHOULD be 'homies' because we're about the same age (i'm 23) and I was in the catskills like 8 or 9 weekends this summer.

    REGARDS,

    moosekid

P.S. W3rd to Beetle. I'm not NEFF smart because I don't get the Cupcake gag. Can you enlighten me?? I recently saw that someone else made a cupcake reference in their avatar/status and now I'm curious...

CMM take a breath and try not to get so worked up. You have had much worse said to you and haven't reacted so vehemently

Yeah, mostly by elders. People I respect.

Who is this moosekid to come in here and bash me? I bring everything I have to the table for you guys. I can't stand when I get bashed for that; but I will take the abuse the best I can from the people I respect and people who are older than me.

As a teacher, I just have to say, "what the hell is wrong with our education system?"

You take "infrequent" college courses? Do they meet every other week or so?

I take a few classes when I can afford the time.

In my generation "BRO" can be used to antagonize.. if you havent noticed..

Use "HOMIE" in a correct English sentence and I'll be waiting the response
