    Very nice, I may try a rod this winter. I've done one rod but only the guides, a buddy did the reel seat and handle.

    I've considered it in but have yet to take one on. It would obviously be a build starting with a bamboo blank, but I don't even know where to start looking for a quality blank that won't break the bank......

    look on eBay that what I did . you can get a basket case fairly cheap. I basically deconstructed the rod to a blank and rebuilt it.
