Here is my H.T.P. Trout Bane. This is one of my best producers. Dead drift and also worked on a twitch and strip. It is a quick tie and top off lightly on top with Bug Bond light formula makes the peacock durable without taking away much from the peacock. All the colors and flash remain. I like to tie and fish these guys small, 16 being a huge one. I go down to 24 on these guys. This one looks great tied with a metallic thread such as montana fly co midge body thread. Although I haven't noticed a difference in effectiveness on the trout.

Re: Johnny's H.T.P. Trout Bane
I tied up a half dozen of these last week. Quick tie! Fished it all day today and it did VERY well. Thanks for the pattern--a new favorite of mine.

I'm a fan of how this fly looks as well and a nice simple tie for someone like myself who has limited patience at the vice

It’s working fine. While the rate of information exchange is slow, it’s not because the system isn’t working… ???
