    trying to fly fish in that wind is tough. You are a diehard!!

    I hit the surf magic hour on Sat pm with the fly rod but there was nothing around.

    One note, though, with the strong northbound longshore current and the southerly wind, I was able to do some real neat roll casts right into the wash. If there were any fish busting the breakers they would have seen my offering. It was the first time I really felt confident with a roll cast in the surf.

    I'll be trying sometime this week or next for the albies (hopefully!!).

    Don't forget about the new moon next week. It should start the Mullet run. The bays are teaming with bait right now. We should start to see some good beach action any time.
