Re: Simms Waders
I have a pair of G3 and LL Bean waist high for hot weather. I am still more comfortable in the G3's, The Beans are good but do not let the moisture escape and my pants feel damp after a day in them. The Simms are great. I too went through Orvis and wont go back

Re: Simms Waders
Look what the guides are wearing.
90% wear Patagonia and Simms for a reason.
The 10% that wear Orvis waders are only doing so because they are out of an Orvis shop, and the waders always look new because they are.

Re: Simms Waders
Not bitter at all. The Maine trip was awesome, I am rested and ready for the shenanigans that wait for me at work. Fishing was non-stop dry fly action on crazy acrobatic 14"-17" average size Landlocks, with a few brute Brookies in the mix. I can't wait to do it again next year.

Re: Simms Waders
Dammit i will not stand for the bad mouthing or putting down of orvis!!! I love orvis!!!! I am orvis!!! Tt and orvis are one!!! Even if some of their stuff sucks!!!! Worst waders i ever owned were the orvis tailwaters, they have since been discontinued..... After a full season they gave me a full refund and i purchased the sonic seam waders which are fantastic especially if you have some hiking to get to your spot. Viva la orvis!!!!
Hell no and it aint over now.......

Well unless you are catering to the South Jersey crowd, you better make those "crispy Taylor Ham sandwiches".
