James Reid 10'10" 5/6wt Bamboo Trout Spey

James Reid has started the 10'10" 5/6 wt spliced ferrule trout spey. I can't wait to get home to put the wood to some fish with it!

I will post pictures of the progress as I get them. So far he has picked the culm and begun the flaming.





He has definitely started the rod much earlier then anticipated.

Here is the reel I will be putting on this rod. 3 3/4" St George. It came with two spare spools so I will also have a spool lined for the Powell as well.
