These head mounted mini cams are the new scourge of the outdoor world. Every other chode skiing or riding on the mountain, or mountain biking on the trail, has one now. Youtube, Vimeo, etc. will be flooded with a tidal wave of shit. For every one good video for someone doing something cool, or an unintended-train wreck, there will be 1000 videos of awefullness.

Re: Upper Delaware River Fly Fishing
DBC,
lol first video with the music in the background i was expecting Tony Soprano an the boys to be on one of them huge pontoon boats trying to catch trout an gettin pissed off then pullin out a glock or ak an shootin the water..then i remembered the name of the fly an for sure i figured you end up with that song from animal house"ShamaLamaDingDong"
Second video i figured Conan{ala:Ahhhhrrnoold} would show up with a spear or something,
An the last video of pink floyd ...no comment..i am not a Flyd fan i enjoy some of their songs but i am a diehard Led Zeppelin,Jimi Hendrix fan.no offense to each their own.
I would like to say i really enjoyed all the videos though, really really great i will be flickin back to this thread time an again. I love the Delaware and the Lehigh , I am from Easton,Pa grew up fishing them both.very good videos keep em coming

Re: Upper Delaware River Fly Fishing
This is the natural evolution of the Facebook society that we live in. So now in addition to the day by day detailed account of your mediocre life, we'll have the video to go with it. Now, I know that in some cases this technology will be used to record something that is actually interesting, but in the vast majority of cases it will be an epic fail. Just think of how many videos will be out there of people skiing down blue trails slowly, or getting a whopping 2ft of air in the park.
The Upper D videos are nice though. Gonna go home and tie some Hendrickson emergers and Rusty Spinners in anticipation. My biggest regret is that I didn't discover that place until a few years ago.

That's outstanding.
That is the non hype, non glamour beauty of fly fishing.

Technically its only been there since they built those dams. Started there 4 years ago clueless, had a good guide show me how and what to tie, and how to cast at them. Have been getting them on my own now for a while. Still like to do a couple of floats a year when time and budget allow. I wade alot on my own.

Re: Upper Delaware River Fly Fishing
Hi Guys,
A few guys poking around over the weekend.
Even had a boat go by the house!!
Lots of stones on the mainstem on Saturday and even saw rising fish while I was showing property down there!
The West Seemed quiet and Sunday it kept geting colder all day. ON the slow side.
Still can't believe I am talking about fishing the Delaware in early March!!
