Re: Upper Delaware River Fly Fishing
I deleted my facebook account because facebook is gay. I actually rather enjoy telling people..
me- "No you can't find me and friend me on facebook"
them- "Why can't I be your friend on facebook?"
me- "Because I don't have a facebook account."
them- "What? Who doesn't have a facebook account?"
This guy, that's who!
I wish I could see the videos, it would be nice to watch something fishing related, but they block youtube on gubberment computers.
I actually considered getting one of these cameras just because it was the cheapest thing you could stick underwater and get footage with. Then I found a cheaper regular "camera" that shoots video and is shock and waterproof.

I've never fished the Delaware, Beaverkill, or any water in that area. I've lived in NY almost all my life! Maybe this fall before I head out to the last frontier.

Never had an account, never will.
What kind of regular camera did you get? Im thinking of a Panasonic Lumix.
At the risk of pissing off many, I'd say drive right past the Beaverkill and go straight to the East, West, or Mainstem of the D. Spring is best, but the fall can be good also, especially when the pre-spawn streamer bite is on like it was this year.
Roll up the windows Brian, you're letting the stank out.

I agree fully..have never had a facebook account, and never will have one...it is kind of like video games and the such...They take away from "real time" doing "real things" like fishing, tying flies, playing the guitar, spending time with friends. I never understood the game rock band...why waste time trying to play a fake instrument when you can waste time playing a real one!!!

If anyone monitors my facebook page, I can assure you they'll be bored to tears and find absolutely nothing I am ashamed of! BTW, you don't have to set your security settings so everyone can see your posts/info, you can be much tighter with your info on facebook. The funny thing is that some of you posting how you'd never have a facebook account post things on here that would get many of you fired and most of us know your actual names

I have one in 7 weight and fished it almost exclusively on my Labrador trip a couple of summers back, catching brookies, Atlantic salmon, lake trout, pike, and whitefish. I tossed big streamers,...
