So this is Christmas (war is over) by John Lennon. Its a good Christian message of peace. Of course, somewhat ironic, as John was am atheist.
And he was murdered by a born again Christian missionary.
Oh well.
Second best is paul mccartney's Christmas tune, simply having a wonderful Christmas time.

Harrison had the first #1, sure. But, Ringo had a #1 with "Photograph" in 73 and Lennon didn't have a #1 until 80(!) with "Starting Over". In fact, Ringo had another #1 in 74, "You're Sixteen" before Lennon got off his ass 6 years later... Originally Posted by Johnny Utah
