Where to wade the Lehigh River?

    Hi,
Does anyone know where it might be good to wade the lehigh river say close to bowmanstown north... I know the river is slick and very fast in sections but there has to be some place safe to wade?

    thanks in advance..

    Joey

Wadability is typically determined by how high the river is flowing. Right now, wading is generally out of the question. The first two weekends for PA's trout season should have angler/wade friendly releases from the dam, barring any foreseeable flood control events.

Check out this map for access locations...
