For those who take pics of there flies
Lately I have noticed the amazing pics you guys are taking of your work. I'm looking to buy a camera that can take pics of equal quality. Can you guys point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance

i have a cheap kodac that has macro and you just have to play with the lighting and the distance to get that perfect shot i take probably 10 pictures and only get one or two clear but if the camera was a little more expensive that would not be an issue

Re: For those who take pics of there flies
You get what you pay for. Buy yourself a good DSLR with a macro lens.
I use Nikon equipment because that's what I like. The above pictures can be taken for roughly $3500.00 + time + you have to pay your models. Once you dish out 10k or more on equipment, then learn how to use it properly, then take 100 pictures to get that 1 good one you really like, then put it through post processing, then upload it to a host you paid for, some douche will want to know if they can have them for their website for free! Ohh, they might offer to include a linkback to your site. That sounds like a fair deal right!
To answer your question... If you want cheap camera you'll get cheap pictures. If you want something you have control over, spend a few bux and get a DSLR.

Hi G Lech,
I have the same camera as flytier it works great for taking macro and out door shots. You can find them online as low as $180 not to bad for a water proof camera and it takes a great picture as well.
