When you get to that particular fork, you should really head river right and leave the other side for me
Great video, helps keep off the shack nasties during this storm and makes me long for dry fly season...

YO - DC
If you didn't want me to watch your vid, next time just say so.
Starting it all off with a real live bear just isn't cool.
After seeing the killer bear and that back ground music I was expecting some fisherman wading the river from a top a camel, fly line in the air with flowing robes.
Since I been getting a rash of bad post ratings, I think I should at least say something nice.....
....................... ah never mind.

Skim,
Just wanted you to know I did my part in keeping us anglers safe from killer bears this past December. If you're fishing any stream in the Sparta area, that is...

Yeah, TT. But not the big bastard we had all year. He goes well over 500 lbs. I shot an adult sow that had no cubs with her. Maybe 200 lbs live weight. The antis were hysterical. Sad, actually. They yelled things like "excrement head". WTF is that? I get called worse here daily
Excrement head was the best they could do??? Heck, even my wife calls me shit head now and then.
BTW, DC you need a zoom lens. That red bikini was too far away for my aging eyes...

RS sounds like they went real easy on you.
Lucky for you they weren't IN that nasty mode when you dragged that creature by the hooves out of the woods.
I understand some hunters had actually received cat calls, and some even was heard to be called names such as, "Nanny-nanny boop-boop."
Well, life goes on..... except for those dead bears that is.

But I did get to see one protester get arrested right next to me and that is always good for a laugh or two. As to the dead bear, it is very tasty! Surprisingly so, in fact
To all the anti bear hunters out there, you have less than a year to work on your insults. (HINT: excrement head just won't get it done)

Re: 6 months of fly fishing in 5 minutes
I was looking for camels, all I could come up with was a bear but to keep the spirit alive, One Night in Bangkok.
I'm using a Panasonic TM700. It's an awesome little thing except in low light.
Interesting enough, I don't believe that's the fork you're referring to BUT... In the video footage directly after the mayfly floating downstream, that trout was caught on the left of the channel I believe you're referring to. It's my favorite part of the river!
I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 10.
And NOW... I took some time out and updated the video. There is some extra footage AND you can now watch it in HD 720p. The clarity is night and day over the original I posted the other day.
To watch it in HD, look to the bottom right side of the video for the "YouTube" icon. Directly to the right of that is the quality. Click on that and if your computer can handle it use 720p.

Even better (except for still having that wild bear at the start) my bankers and CPA are in the office, showed them and they liked it.
HUMmmmm.....
Maybe they liked it because they are on the clock....
