Re: Top Five Christmas Gifts Growing Up
One memory I have is, my parents were poor, so my step dad was a garbage man at the time and pulled 2 bikes out of the garbage and refurbished them for us, one blue one red, we got "new" bikes when we weren't expecting much but some matchbox cars....

Re: Top Five Christmas Gifts Growing Up
1-full suspension bike- I was an evel kneivel freak and a regular at the emergency room.
2. Yamaha YZ 125 (my father took his lunch for a year to pay for it) started racing motocross , many trips in ambulances to emergency rooms.
3.Garcia Mitchel spinning outfit, which replaced my Zebco push button outfit that was decimated by a 5lb Largemouth on the last cast of the day on Lake Hopatcong when I was 5 years old , my father had to hand line it in and we ate it that night.....I'm 53 and still a very fond memory.
4. Hot wheels set with the loop to loop, still in my parents attic.
5. Daisy BB gun.
My parents grew up poor, but made sure my sister and I had a great childhood growing up. We were very lucky to have them, still are ,they're in their early 70's and still going strong spoiling their grand kids !
