    saw creek

I see that Saw Creek gets stocked in April

Do any of you fish there, do the fish holdover?

It appears to be very small looking at google earth pics

Just looking for info before I waste a Feb trip to this creek for trout

    thanks in advance

It is stocked and flows into the Big Bushkill. It does have some holdovers.

It's not huge but really not that small, except further up into it's run. It's got a good gradient with some rather deep holes. The stretch down towards its confluence with Big Bushkill I believe gets the most stocking attention and is about the only place I found that was "publicly" accessible (vacant lot w/billboard). Its got a good canopy overall and fairly steep gradient so it does provide for holdovers (wild trout too I believe) especially up thru the individual private property, which makes up most of its run unfortunately.
