    I call shenanigans:

Everyone knows real rednecks drink Pabst Blue Ribbon, Coors Light is one of those sissy yuppie beers. Besides northern pike are a Yankee fish, real rednecks fish for largemouth bass and catfish measured using tall boys, not girlie man 12 ounce light beers.

To begin with, not all rednecks are from the south, (you should see my "rural Indiana County" PA in-laws). They'll poach pike or trout as readily as bass or catfish.

As to the pansy beer, it was stolen from one of the njtrout "hook & cook" events, (Deliverance style).

I think that's my uncles fish. I could see him measuring like that. He loves his bullets.

    Well, maybe in Jersey.

In NY, no self respecting Woodchucks would be caught dead without a 30 pack of Genesee in the back of their rusty pick-up. Genny Cream Ale on the Holidays of course (you know, like "The Big Hunt on the Day Before Opening Day of Deer Season DAY" and Saint Angler's Day(April First)).
