esopus creek
have not been there in years, actually since the time when something like 20 inches of snow melted in a couple of days and changed the rivers course at a couple of spots. was just curious how it has been fishing earlier on this year

Re: esopus creek
Fished there the last two years in a row and didn't catch squat. Was fishing in the DEC reservoir. Haven't been up yet this year but will be up there in the next few weeks.
Spoke to a few other fishermen and finally found someone who caught fish. Guy caught two on a PT.
Still beautiful up there !!

Re: esopus creek
I fished there one day this year, the first time in at least ten years. Went with a friend and we caught a ton of small rainbows and browns. Mostly prospecting caddis dries and a nice spinner fall in the evening. This was all down stream of the portal.
