If you're talking about the Simms bag...Large. Not sure what the difference is between the Med/Large Sagebrush bag because they only list one set of dimensions on their site.

Re: looking for DSLR camera storage

The bag I have is surely nothing compaired to the SIMMS bag shown in these pictures. My bag is a dry bag and is literally a bag, not a case. I keep a few items in the bag with a towel. The towel is used to provide padding for my camera stuff. Granted the Sage bag is very nice and quite functional looking, my bag is waterproof. Not only that, but if my pontoon capsized, I could probably use it as something to hold onto and float. It's water tight.

Yeah, I've already decided the Simms bag is going back. I think I'll try the Sagebrush. Just waiting for a response from CR on my most recent post to him. I also have a dry bag but I need compartments for my lenses.

Yes, that is the one. I had replied to your post the other day but for some reason it did not show up here. That is the bag and the internal padded compartment.

A question for you on your Sagebrush bag. Do you know if it's the medium or the large bag? They don't have measurements on their site comparing the two sizes.

Not only that, they seem to not be home. Everytime I've called in the past two days all I've gotten is a delayed busy signal. I called both the toll and toll-free numbers. Are they still in business? Yes, I did take into account the time difference (-5 hours).

Well today I called the toll-free number and at least got an answering machine. Hoping to get a call back.

Re: looking for DSLR camera storage

Well, I've decided to start exploring other options....

Here they are in no particular order:

    Lowepro DryZone 100
    Seattle Sports Aquaknot
    Seattle Sports Crossbreed
    Aquapac Noatak

Does anyone have one of these?

I really like the Lowepro bag because of the compartments but it costs way too much.

They finally got back to me today. The large bag is two inches taller than the medium bag. That is the only difference between the two according to the woman I spoke to. I ordered the large bag in yellow with the padded insert but without the lumbar straps.

Re: looking for DSLR camera storage

I got the Sagebrush bag on Friday. I'm very pleased with its construction and durability. Its also the exact size I needed it to be for my DSLR body and three lenses.

Thanks to CR for suggesting it. All things considered, the price of the bag is just a drop in the bucket compared to the cost of a damaged body and three expensive lenses.

Nice looking bag. 100% waterproof I'm guessing? Where did you pick it up?
