Project healing waters for the disabled vets

Try to attend local Project Healing Water events in your area. These are fly fishing events. This is a great organization. I try to attend all events in the Pittsburgh area to help the vets. The VA busses in the veterans in wheel chairs to fish different lakes. The event is free and so is the lunches. Please donate to this organization if you can.

A great organization as is Wounded Warriors. Here in NJ, our Trout Unlimited chapters are involved with the vets, and we have teams that help at certain veteran's centers like Lyons. We - the 10 NJTU chapteres - also gather annually to tie flies for both the vets and Casting For Recovery, the women's breast cancer survival organization that uses fly fishing in part to help the ladies heal.

I tied a bunch of flies for PHW in a swap, but I think Tom and DC have all of them....great cause...
