Lets talk about the magazine concept for a second.

I think it takes some real heart and soul to create a beautiful blog, like small stream reflections.

    Not everyone can do that.

I focus on fun projects, like my videos, for as long as they're fun to make.

I have taken my videos down from youtube, several years ago actually, and some had 700 or 800 views.

My fly tying videos got like 2000 views. Lots of people learned how to thread the bobbin from me, Macfly, and then went to their local fly shop, to buy thread and scissors, and by doing so, I helped stimulate the local economy.

But these projects are like books that have a beginning and end.

    You gotta understand that, Mac.

You don't keep rewriting the same chapter.

I agree John but instead of rewriting the same chapter you could have written a new chapter...in the same book...otherwise it feels like you just left the ending unfinished and incomplete...were you no longer inspired...I mean you gotta love what you do...what do you love to do John...what inspires you...and will allow you to earn a living cause let's be honest that wasn't gonna happen with beetle mag or playing dress up while threading a bobbin. And you still haven't answered that fundamental question Johnny. Why do you hate America? Why do you hate your local fly shop? Why can't you follow through on anything?
