I've been thinking about the database and thought what might be best for it.

The first thing is that when posting a review of a fly, a photo should be required. A picture says a thousand words. With that, the photo should be a decent shot which shows the details of the fly.

If you don't have the equipment or are incapable of a good shot, you can mail the fly to me and I will take the photo for you. I'll mail back your fly upon request. (This isn't a ply to get free flies, believe me, I've got more flies than a dead deer.

My personal opinion is that when someone looks at a photo of a fly, the quality of the photo determines whether or not the person continues to read the description.

One of my visions is to have a great big database of flies from some of the best tyers around. I've also created a Section for Beginners where some of the better tyers can come in, evaluate your ties, and make suggestions.

I will create a personal fly review page for ANYONE who requests it. Andy B., Sib, Pete, Scott, I've already created them for you guys since you guys have expressed interest in it. Members Index!

Finally, if any member would like a personal HTML page for your index page, this can be done! Send me a personal bio with a photo of yourself and we'll have your photo and bio at the top of your fly tying index page! What more could you ask for! The possibilities are endless!
