Could This be a Suitable Imitation for... Anything?
I'm a novice tyer, I've been attempting for about a month and my materials are very limited. The only flies i've attempted so far are the Adams and some October Caddis variations. Thus, I only have gray and orange thread, and hackle is limited to ginger, grizzly and brown.
I feel like i've slowly been making progress, and today I thought I'd get a little crazy and try something new. This is what I came up with:
Hook- Standard dry fly, size 12
Thread- Gray 8/0
Tail- Brown Hackle barbs
Dubbing- Orange
Hackle- Ginger
Wings- Brown Hackle
The end result, my best looking tie (quality-wise) to date. I've attached a pic... I apologize for the poor quality.

I'm thinking that, if anything, this fly could serve as an imitation for some sort of sulfur variation or possibly a peach fly. I understand I could be way off with this prediction however.
If this fly is presented properly under the right conditions, will it ever get me a fish?
