Not Ranked : 0 Re: midge's They have some bigger midges out West, not all like our undernourished Eastern ones. I fished Spring Creek this weekend with Ben Turpin as a guide for our group and he was promoting size 16 Zebra midges with a silver head (his position is fish see way too many gold heads), so you don't have to start tiny. For tiny midges a good place to start is the Zebra midge because a) it's easy to get the right proportions b) materials are few and imexpensive and c) it works. |
