Not Ranked : 0 Sink-Tip or Full Sink recommendations? i'm looking for recommendations for what sort of line i need to purchase...here are the specifics...
9' 6wt legend elite (feels pretty fast to me).
i'm anticipating warmer weather, and hunting some other species w/ the 6wt i bought. i already have a sharkskin wf6f trout taper and a sharkskin wf6f gpx taper for it. (i can't really tell any difference, if there is is one. i have to really concentrate on my casting to get 75ft of line out...)
anyway, i would like to try some Delaware fishing since i live so close now and have a canoe. additionally i've done really well on Round Valley, Merrill Creek, Spruce Run letting lake trout and browns tow my canoe around w/ a spinning rod for many years. i'm looking forward to bass and pike, and can't always depend on them coming to the top.
is there anything i should be looking for? i see Rio has a "versi-tip" and Shannon's is a Rio dealer. anyone cast one of these? it looks like it might be a challenge for a novice like me...there's a hinge in the midlle! it's also a little pricey$.
i also see Rio has a "Deep 7" lake line..."created for a 7 weight...but can be used on 5-8" sounds perfect for overlining a fast 6wt. got a feel for how this might work in Delaware current?
suggestions? recommendation? warnings? curses? jokes? stories embellished by wild imagination?
