I have a recipe for a great looking stonefly nymph that calls for goose biots. I don't have the right color but have tons of turkey biots from a bird I harvested two season's ago. Can I use them instead? I don't see whay not but I just wanted to make sure. At the time I had just gotten into tying so I just started ripping bunches of feathers from the bird and throwing them in plastic baggies according to what part they came from with visions of an endless supply of Hare's ear materials. Now before I shoot something I not only think, "how am I going to cook this", but also "I wonder how that would look on a fly!" Well, back to the bench, thanks
