Mass producing flies (assembly line style) while tying??

I posted this on another forum and just wanted to hear what you guys though...

When tying dry flies; do any of you mass produce your flies? For example, do you tie on the divided wings for the entire dozen of size 16 Adams at once, then tie on all the tails etc. etc.?

Do you think this adds added weight to the fly? If you did this, you would be able to jump right down the hook from the wings in order to tie on the tail and dub the abdomen, instead of spiraling down the hook to the bend of the hook.

Do you think this makes the fly weaker??

Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Tight lines- Mike!!!
