Question on durability of Pheasant Tail Fibers

Question on durability of Pheasant Tail Fibers

Hello All... Sometimes when tying a Pheasant Tail it takes me a few times to get the tail where I like it. So after I catch in the fibers I'll losen then adjust, then tighten again. None have broken, but I'm wondering If I weaken them by doing this. Should I just catch in new fibers? Take Care.
