Not Ranked : 0 Trying to research patterns I came across three landlocked Salmon Streamer Patterns tied tandem. I was at a museum and saw the flies and they are from the area that I fish. I find no mention of them in Bates / Streamers and Bucktails. Any help from the following patterns would be helpful. Lake George / Fourth Lake / Adirondack Smelt / I took the recipe down so I can tie them up. These where on a card saying that they where custom tied from Goldstocks Sporting Goods, in the 50's or 60's a friend of mine Rudy Romania used to work there in the fly tackle dept back then, the only problem now is he is fly fishing in heaven.......... |
