Need Advice For April Salt

I need advice about Mid-April. I have the third week in April off and I'd like to take my kayak to the shore and Fly Fish for some stripers. The way the migrations go, I'm thinking South Jersey, like Cape May. Or is it still too early there? Would the Stripers be there, or more south that time of year? Any advice or suggestions appreciated.
