| tandem nymphing What kind of tandem nymph rigs does everyone use? I've seen variations including 1) heavier nymph first, then smaller nymph tied off hook bend of larger; 2) same as #1 but with split shot above larger nymph; 3) same as #1 but with split shot between the two nymphs; 4) reverse #1 with smaller nymph first, and finally, ) larger nymph at end of tippet, smaller nymph tied in halfway up leader with 3 inch long mono extension. How do these different methods affect casting? Are there other ways to rig?  |
