Dennis (ddwatson) and I floated the Delaware on Saturday, and had a great time. The Trout were rising everywhere all day long for as far as our eye's could see. The fish rising were of many different sizes. I spotted many 18" - 20" trout rising right in front of me at times. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out what they were taking. I did manage 1 nice 15" trout (See the photo above) and failed to set my hook ontime for a few others.
We spotted about 7 - 8 bald eagles, and Dennis pointed out a huge Bald Eagle nest to me. Pretty kewl!
It rained on and off for most of the day, but the water was never discolored. It did feel kind of nasty being drenched though.
