Top 5 Suggestions for Newbies

NjFred gave me a list of things to do, to up my chances of catching fish on the Delaware, but I thought maybe everyone could list their own top 5 suggestions for new guys to the world of flyfishing. What would you do differently, knowing what you know now, if you were starting out again? What would you do exactly the same?
