Things Are Looking Up!

Anyone been watching the weather forecasts today?

Early in week the weekend looked like a total washout. Heavy Rain / Wind from Friday evening through Sunday.

Today, weather.com is showing showers for Friday night and Saturday, with Sunday being partly cloudy and a bit warmer. That's a helluva lot better than even yesterday's forecasts! Showers isn't heavy rain so hopefully water levels will stay reasonable.

I can't make it to the Catskills so am gonna hunt for wild browns / brookies on some smaller streams up in the Hickory Run state forest. Never fished that area but have the whole day to check things out Anybody on this board fished this area? Any tips?

Also gonna try the Lehigh River for my "big water" fix It's a stocked fishery but there's a lot of tribs feeding it so ya ya never know.
