I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I started tieing my own leaders last year and used a formula from an angler whose name is George Anderson. His leaders are called Streambase leaders.
They have a hard butt and mid section but a soft end section. I originally saw the formula in an article in one of the major fly fishing magazines about 1 1/2 years ago but can't seem to locate it (I think it was Fly Fisherman). Do any of you have this formula and can you post it?
I have some other formulas but really, really liked this particular leader. I'm convinced it really improved presentation through improved turnover hence accuracy and the soft end cut down on drag.
Much thanks. |
