Catskill Poll

Due to the large amount of Catskill Fishermen on this board, I want to take a poll on who is your favorite Catskill Fly Fishermen/Fly Tyer? This person can be from some one who has passed away to a better fishing ground in the sky to a modern day Fly fishermen/Fly Tyer. And give the reason why.

For me it is Ray Bergman, to me Ray had such great insight and artistry on the creation of his famed Wet fly's. Today, I tye and fish with Rays vast amount of patterns and creations that work great on streams up in the Catskills, NJ and PA. Ray is just one of many creative and famous tyers of the famed Catskill era. I think Ray Bergmans insight and creativity were just plain outstanding. If you have not had the pleasure to tye one of his patterns and then fish them, you might just be surprised at the results. Some good patterns to tye would be the Catskills, Parmachene Belle, Montreal Whore, Flamer, Gray Hackle, Pink Lady, Trout Fin just to name a few.
