I sit back and ponder and realize that 2002 has come and gone. I look back at a past year and realize how fortunate all of us on this board are to have lived through our day that will live in infamy. The reason I reflect again and how does this relate here is simple. I worked at ground zero for 15 weeks restoring communication for lower Manhattan. I was across the street from ground zero and as far away at 33 Thomas the AT&T building. I completed my task that was set out before me and depression set in. I went to Disney World in December that year and at the end of a much needed vacation cracked a smile. I came home and the smile went away. I decided to pick up my fly rod and go fish the last two weeks of December. That is where I truly found my smile and peace of mind. To me it's like this. It it not important how one chooses to fish. Nor is it important how many fish you caught or that you caught a world record or a fingerling. What matters most is the freindship that all fishermen share and the stories and good times. I think the people here and on a few other boards that I have met are really nice people that all have one thing in common, Fishing. I look forward this coming year to meeting all of you and finally wetting a line. For this time of year is important to me to spend time with friends and family and loved ones that are dear. I see people on his board getting ready to go fishing on weekends and for me the vise calls my name. I decided that you guys go catch the fish right now ands I 'll tye the flies. Come spring I will meet with all and go fishing. Dennis, Good Site, Joe T., keep that knowledge that you provide to all of us coming, I enjoy your knowledge and thoughtfullness to share, NJFred I think we need to hook up and go fish. NATTY and NJNympher if you like I this a meeting is called for to meet up and help you guys out with a little tying. Yukon keep telling those stories of team Yukons outings. I will be posting from time to time for the rest of the month, but not as much due to Xmas almost upon us and holiday party's and outings has been going on. I'm wishing all a Merry Christmas now in case I get to caught up in the season. In closing, Peace on earth good will to men and may all that can get out to fish catch some gems. Your Friend
