pontoon (kick) boats Upon my fly fishing venture out west this summer, I realized that the pontoon boat reins supreme in both moving and stillwaters. I don't see them much around here in the northeast. Why? I've been considering one. I know by now that my float tube sucks: you sit low in the water, can't use it on moving water, and so on. I know a pontoon boat is not a good idea for the famed Beaverkill (anglers throw rocks at you, from what I hear. Don't mess with tradition, I guess). But the Delaware system might be just the ticket. I'm still debating. Anyone out there have any ideas on this issue? I've noticed there aren't too many guys mentioning this topic. I'm sure many of you love fly fishing the stillwater. So a flotation device is necessary.
