| Trout below Calicoon. Shawn,I noticed your post on nj and thought it was best to anwer you from here.There are trout below Calicoon BUT not in any significant numbers.From what I know there are great small mouth pops.Contrary to some who think they head up the tribs from the D, the trout in the D are from the tribs!(In most cases)The river below caliccon is not a condusive habitat for trout as you know!It is much to warm in the summer,and does not have the proper "ingredients"(food sources).The insect pops down that way pale in comparison to there cousins in the north,due to lack of much needed nutrients and and lower ph levels. |
