Crazy CFS Prediction

Ok guys, I'm playing god ( sorry god). With all the high rivers and pent up anxiety about where to go fishing on opening day and so forth, I decided to quantify , what is usually my own little daily excersise. Every day, and everytime before I fish, I peruse the USGS tables on the current CFS and water levals before I decide where to fish. There are definate patterns as to how each river swells and recedes after rain. There are a zillion variables, and most importantly, each river behaves differently going up and down. If you dont know how to interpret the data, you should take time to start. One really important thing if you have not used this data, is to understand that the data is unique to that specific river, and CFS, cubic feet per second of river flow, is only relevant to that rivers size and behavior, and gage Height is only relevant to that specific spot on that specific river where the height is being measured. Don't wade in high water, if you have to think about it don't do it. 4 people are are tragically dead in upsate because they thought they could cross a creek.

With the serious stuff past us, I pulled out the sextant, abacus, slide-rule and flux capicator. I have posted a spread sheet ( maybee if it works) up as a picture on this site, with my predictions of what some local rivers will do over the next week. I hope I am wrong, but it does not look good for most rivers for another week. There always wooly buggers in high waters, but I think the comfort zone is a ways off. If anyone knows of any sites that try to do predictions using more scientific calculations, I would like to see it, other wise go ahead and blast me for the error in my ways
