| Foul Hooked Fish How does stuff like this happen?! Fishing a NJ stream yesterday. Drifting a nymph through a moderately slow run. Depth is between 3 and 4 feet. Get a definite strike and I strike back. Hook up with decent fish and land aprrox. 14-15 inch rainbow. Hook is implanted dead center on the top of the fishes head!?!?  What are possible scenarios for a small fly, (14) with two small shot on the leader to do that? Curious, James  |
