During the week end I went fishing twice, Saturday night from 6 PM to 8:30PM and Sunday morning 6:60 Am to 9 AM
Let me begin from Saturday. Good new from this trip is caught fish, which made big silver blink into deep spot. You can laugh but it was sucker

pretty big one, about 22 inches. Fish was digging dirt on the bottom and just turn over some times. Belly made a silver blink and I was thinking it is big beautiful trout

OK; at least I have had good battle. Fish bit olive wooly bug #8. Same evening I was opprobrium. I have fished on the place where river made turn. ON the apposite bank there is a house. About 7:45 PM and river stepped down lady, about 40 years old, and nicely asked if I don’t mind she will fish here too. It was very kind of her. I have said I don’t. She took a very plain pool with Hook couple split shoots and bob. She put warm on and make a cast. Bait has dropped very close to the bank, but just in couple of seconds bob run away. She hooked and 10 inches brown trout was her. I could not believe my eyes. In couple minutes she got one more. Totally in same manner she took four trout from 10 to 12 inches each. It took for her no more then 20 minutes. On same spot. She took a look to fishes, said diner is ready, gave me a smile and left. I was shocked. Just one positive moment I saw trout and remember spot where fish was running
Sunday morning I was on the river again. I made I wild guess, that my problem with cast, beside my wonderful J technique, is too have leader. I used #5. So I switched to 4 and it works better for me. However, first cast on spot where I saw trout previous evening brought a strike. That was trout. It was very nice rainbow trout about 12 inches long. WOW. Trout took Adams #12. Fish was real beauty. Unfortunately, as carefully I tied to be, fish got fly too deep. Hook injured gills and when fish was unhooked, it would not go away. I put fish on the line and tied to the root of the tree. I left fish and hopped to pick up it on the way home. Rest time of fishing did not bring a single strike. In two hours I stopped on the place, where I left my trout. And … could not find it

. Line was on place no fish. Fish was found couple yards down by stream. Three tortoises slowly but surely have been having their breakfast. Only half of fish left. I was sad. Honestly say, I felt guilty about this fish. That ruined my morning.
Only one good thing, I think my cast is becoming better
