Muskconetcong

My trip was at Sunday to place a little down by the stream from Hackettstown. I have fished twice on the river early in the morning from 6 to 8:30 AM and afternoon from 4 to 7 PM. At the morning I have used spinning tackles with small spinner and Rapala original #3. I caught about 4 different specifies of fishes but not trout. But actually trout was the fish I would like to catch.
At the evening I went with fly equipment. I am just beginner and this was cause of problems I have experienced. No any trout again Suckers and sunfishes gladly bit Royal Coachman, but not trout. I have tried some other flies, but did not have almost any lucky with them. Smart people tell I was wrong in my attempt to catch trout at this time of year, especially with that temperature we have had part weekend. So I will try to wait for some cool off and go again. In general trip was good, beside it was very hot in afternoon.
