Not Ranked : 0 Delaware River Late June Reports Hi, Been away for a few days up on the St. Lawrence. Informal poll of floaters and fishermen have said the WB has fished well. Sulphurs are popping on a regular basis and streamers are also working. Had one report of good Isos and some nice dry fly fishing with them. Nearly everyone reported good sulphurs and fish taking dries. WB is still running over 2000 cfs, so it is mostly floating right now. Starting July 1st, there may be a gradual drop in release down to 350 and then 325. It will take a few days, look for it to start when the reservoir stops spilling for a few days. Personally, I would prefer the release to be capped at between 800 - 1000 right now. Risk of flooding is low and it is more water than we really need. Hopefully, getting on the water tomorrow. Jim |
